2 min rest after each 2K, and 90 seconds rest after the 1K. The 2K intervals should be completed at tempo pace, and the 1K intervals a bit faster, around 5K pace. This workout focuses on improving the aerobic base. This workout should feel "comfortably hard" so if you feel like you are really digging deep to make a specific time, you are going too fast for the intended purpose of this workout.
