400s with hammers

8-12 x 400s:  5K pace.  Numbers 3, 7, and 11 will be at a bit of a faster pace (close to 3K pace).  This workout will help you get more of a sense of how you will feel in the 5K-8K race distance and pushing through that discomfort and will also help work your glycolitic system (helps you become more tolerant to muscle acidosis).


Montana Racing Project's Track Club - currently meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at Lindley Park (changed from the MSU Outdoor Track & Field Complex while the track is being resurfaced).  Mentally prepare for workouts by joining the Facebook group.
