The Workout: 2-6 x 800m, 1-4 x 400m with 1:30 to 3 minutes rest in between. Choose a shorter rest for the 400s, a longer rest for the 800s, and stick with it. Measured rest is important because it can ensure your body is still taxed once your next repeat starts. Do not be loose about it.
